We do installations of battery based inverter systems.
The unit, which is either permanently connected to the utility power or solar panel, can be installed to charge the batteries.
When the main is present a built-in battery charger recharges the batteries and keeps the batteries fully charged. When the mains fail, the back up system automatically switches over via an extra fast transfer switch to the inverter which will continue to provide power. This is extremely fast and standard equipment like TVs, Dstv decoder, lightings etc are unaffected.
When utility power returns, the unit switches back to the utility power and automatically starts re-charging the batteries.
These units are ideal for home owner and business where noisy and pollution from exhaust is a problem. Moreover generators need constant refilling and maintenance.
